A very functional and decorative pendant light from Danish producer Vitrika. The three brass rings project light along the outside of the underlaying one. The bottom is covered with a heavy hand made glass diffuser that spread the light wide downwards without glare.
Good condition with a few dings on the top ring as seen in the imagers. Standard E27 light bulb socket.
Vitrika was a lamp manufacturer with a very large repertoire. There is very little information available about the company, but it was started in the late 1940s by three young men, a salesman, a designer and a craftsman, the slogan was Vi-Tre-Kan (we-three-can), hence the name Vitrika. The company was active between 1948 to 1992.
